Clint Bowyer’s Finishes

poses for a portrait during the 2015 NASCAR Media Day at Daytona International Speedway on February 12, 2015 in Daytona Beach, Florida.

I know Clint Bowyer is happy to have made the Chase in 2015, but there was a lot left to be desired for the #15 team. With his final season at Michael Waltrip Racing, Bowyer was hoping to go out with a bang and leave everyone at MWR with a great final lasting impression. However, things did not work out as they hoped in their final season, but he did make the Chase and he never gave up! In his final season with MWR, Bowyer did great things on the road courses, but that is to be expected of Bowyer. He also made noise at the plate tracks of Daytona and Talladega, and even stuck his nose out there during the short track races. Bowyer also should be very proud of his 2nd place finish in the Sprint Showdown race which advanced him into the All-Star Race where he was able to finish 12th.

Concord, NC - May 15, 2015: Greg Biffle (16), Danica Patrick (10), and Clint Bowyer (15) advance to the Sprint All-Star Race at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, NC.

Moving to a new team next year, and then to the #14 car in 2017, it will be hard for Bowyer to find consistency until he gets settled with his new team, but I still expect him to show his muscles as a driver at Watkins Glen, Sonoma, Talladega, and Daytona. We can all be certain that Bowyer will continue to be himself on and off the track and bring smiles and laughter to everyone who is around him, even though of us who watch from out sofas.
