After surviving Talladega, the field heads to a less chaotic track in Kansas Speedway. The only stat I cannot provide you for this weekend is how many times a reference to Dorothy, The Yellow Brick Road, or The Wizard Of Oz will be mentioned, but just keep an eye out for tornadoes while you are at it.

Kansas 1 Team Stats

Kansas 1 Manufacturers

Thanks to his victory at Talladega, Brad Keselowski has boosted his team in the standings as well as bringing Ford back into the 2016 picture; we now await a victory from Joey Logano. When it comes to Kansas, Hendrick Motorsports and Roush Fenway Racing lead the way; this could be good news for Roush Fenway Racing as their season seems to be turning around. When it comes to the Spring event at Kansas, Joe Gibbs Racing matches Hendrick Motorsports, and with the way JGR’s season is going, they could pull ahead come the end of the evening on Saturday.

Kansas 1 Predictions

Looking ahead to what Saturday night could bring, we see another repeat winner might be in store for the season. With only 5 races, there has not been a repeat winner yet, but that could change. This could also be the time that Matt Kenseth throws his bad luck of 2016 out the window and rounds out Joe Gibbs Racing with a victory for each team member.

Kansas 1 Past Finishes

If you want someone else, try Dale Earnhardt Jr. As long as they do not repair Amelia and bring her to Kansas, Dale Jr. might have a chance to redeem his season.

This weekend’s race is on Saturday night, so be sure you have plenty of rest the night before; and don’t forget Mother’s Day is this Sunday! I know one lucky mom will be getting a great gift in victory from her child. What about you?

What better way to combine 2 of my favorite things, NASCAR and statistics, than providing y'all with an analytical report each weekend during the NASCAR season.

When I am not crunching the numbers, I spend time with my hubby, 3 black cats (Ninja, Daytona, and Chronos), and I watch too much TV, especially Doctor Who. Why yes, I am a geek and proud! So join forces with me and follow my weekly Crunching The Numbers segment. Who knows, I may surprise you!
