The playing field is basically level at this point when it comes to Bristol. Chevrolet has been in quite the drought this year, so a Toyota or Ford driver is probably the safer bet to grab victory this weekend.

Bass Pro Shops NRA Night Race Predictions & Analysis

Bristol 2 Predictions

Well, it looks like Joe Gibbs Racing is the real powerhouse this season as Denny Hamlin grabbed the checkered flag at Watkins Glen. Earlier this year at Bristol, Carl Edwards was victorious, but we also saw extremely solid runs from Chase Elliott and Trevor Bayne. Bristol can be almost as predictable as a restrictor plate track and a new face could win this Saturday evening.

If you are looking for consistency, with a decent shot at victory, you might want to turn to Team Penske’s Joey Logano as he has won the past 2 (summer) races. Kyle Busch is also pretty dominate at this track, but his last win came back in 2010. With the way he has been running this year, I would expect to see him mixing it up-front with the Penske duo.

What better way to combine 2 of my favorite things, NASCAR and statistics, than providing y'all with an analytical report each weekend during the NASCAR season.

When I am not crunching the numbers, I spend time with my hubby, 3 black cats (Ninja, Daytona, and Chronos), and I watch too much TV, especially Doctor Who. Why yes, I am a geek and proud! So join forces with me and follow my weekly Crunching The Numbers segment. Who knows, I may surprise you!
