Bad Boy Off Road 300 Predictions & Analysis

Last year, Matt Kenseth clinched his spot in the second round of the Chase. He is the defending race winner and he is looking for the sweep this year having won earlier this season. But, when it comes to lobsta, Joey Logano and Brad Keselowski have a solid record at the track and will be looking to knock down Joe Gibbs Racing. With Martin Truex Jr. locked into the next round, he will look to continue his hot streak, while the perpetual bridesmaid this season, Chase Elliott, will wonder if cautions will fall his way and he can finally make it to victory lane.

Jimmie Johnson is certainly looking for the bad luck to run out, and his past few races at Loudon in the fall have bee quite nice to him. Can he capitalize on the speed of last week and avoid pit road penalties this weekend and score a solid finish? Can Kevin Harvick bounce back from a poor first round opening?

2016 Chase Drivers’ Stats

As stated, Martin Truex Jr. is locked into the next round of the Chase. Some surprises come from Kevin Harvick being in a small hole, but nothing out of reach just yet while Jimmie Johnson awaits any penalties that may fall his way and push him down the list. As of now, the remaining 11 spots in the second round are still up for grabs. With no major issues to the Chase drivers in Chicagoland, it makes Loudon and Dover that much more important to not have an issue.
