Crunching The Numbers: Sonoma Raceway Toyota SaveMart 350

The Toyota SaveMart 350 from Sonoma Raceway is the first of three road course races the NASCAR drivers will see this season. Last year’s winner, Kevin Harvick, is the best guy on track this season. Most recent race winner, Clint Bowyer, is always good out at Sonoma. Will it be one of these Stewart Haas Racing drivers; or will another driver spoil the party?

Toyota SaveMart 350 Team & Manufacturer Statistics

We know the story this season is about the Fords and Toyotas, so the fact that Ford has the least wins at Sonoma Raceway means, well, not a whole lot for this weekend’s race. Kevin Harvick is the defending race winner, and he is the most dominate driver this season; and that is not expected to end. However, for Chevrolet, they are really looking to stop the party of their competition.

Toyota SaveMart 350 Predictions

Clint Bowyer has not one, but two victories this season. The last time he had multiple victories in a season was 2012; that was three victories. And wouldn’t you know it – 2012 was when Clint Bowyer won the Toyota SaveMart 350 at Sonoma Raceway. He has some momentum heading into the weekend with his victory at Michigan International Speedway, and he has the best average finish in the Toyota SaveMart 350. That puts him at the top of the charts, and the one to beat!

Let’s gear up for some left turns, and right turns, and see who comes out on top in wine country, also known as Sonoma, California!
