By all means, Christopher Bell crushed it in Saturday’s Ambetter Get Vaccinated 200 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
All things considered, perhaps the No. 54 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota entry automatically wins NASCAR XFINITY Series races. In this case, Christopher Bell made this witty observation quite relevant despite starting 14th.
Indeed, Bell dropped the hammer when he took the lead from AJ Allmendinger on lap 44.
Without doubt, aside from Brandon Brown and Allmendinger leading respectively from laps 49 to 54, Bell proved relentless.
Chiefly, Christopher Bell retook the lead on lap 55, making the race winning pass with 146 laps remaining.
Similarly, Bell’s dominant performance served as a throwback to his terrific Truck win in 2017.

“New Hampshire Motor Speedway sure has been good to me,” Bell said. “I like coming here. That last restart was really tough. I was taking off really loose. Justin (Allgaier) was able to stay right on my corner.”
Following the race’s final caution from laps 150-155, Bell fought off a determined Allgaier. At times, Allgaier took the fight to Bell, particularly in the initial laps of the deciding restart.
However, Bell proved as determined as Lieutenant Commander Worf against the Jem’Hadar. On the other hand, Bell reflected on the importance of his scrappy effort in relation with Sunday’s race.

In brief, while Bell scored a dominant victory, Allgaier and Daniel Hemric logged important podiums. Defending XFINITY Series champion Austin Cindric and Harrison Burton, Cup stars in waiting for 2022, placed fourth and fifth.

Most importantly, Bell swept the stages in Saturday’s Ambetter Get Vaccinated 200 at New Hampshire. To put it another way, Bell looked like Pedro Martinez during his heydays with the Boston Red Sox.
“I think these weekends with no practice and no qual, you’re not sitting in the car until the race, I think that gives us a real advantage,” Bell observed. “It’ll be an advantage for whatever time period, two laps, five laps. By the end of the race, obviously, everyone’s up to speed.
“But hopefully, it will let me get into the Loudon rhythm a little faster. And we’ll see what happens. The last three times that I’ve been here have been amazing. Hopefully, I can do it again tomorrow.”
Centrally, Bell praised his Joe Gibbs Racing comrades and essentially bulletproof drives at the shop.
“What I’ve got figured out is I’ve got really, really fast race cars to drive,” Bell said. “I just love being here with Joe Gibbs Racing. All these Supras I’ve had for the last three times I’ve been here have been amazing.”
Likewise, a win in Sunday’s Foxwoods Resort Casino 301 may prove as amazing for Bell.

“Especially coming here, the Xfinity rules package is really similar to the Cup rules package,” Bell said. “I hope we have a really fast Camry tomorrow.”
