HOMESTEAD, Fla. — Corey Heim followed up his victory in last weekend’s race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway with his first pole award of the 2025 season and will lead the 34-truck field to green for Friday night’s NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series Baptist Health 200 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
The No. 11 Safelite Toyota Tundra raced around the 1.5-mile oval with a time of 32.111 seconds, achieving a speed of 168.167 mph.
Tanner Gray, Heim’s TRICON Garage teammate, will start second, locking out the front row for Friday’s 134-lap event.
Kyle Larson, the 29-time NASCAR Cup Series winner for Hendrick Motorsports is making his first Truck Series start of the 2025 campaign rolls off third in the No. 07 Chevrolet for Spire Motorsports.
Layne Riggs, Gio Ruggiero, and Tyler Ankrum rounded out the fastest six trucks in qualifying.

Another fellow Cup Series competitor and Florida native, Ross Chastain will start Friday night’s race in seventh in the No. 45 Chevrolet for Niece Motorsports.
The defending winner of the Homestead-Miami Truck Series event, Grant Enfinger will start eighth in the No. 9 CR7 Motorsports Chevrolet.
Stewart Friesen and defending Truck Series champion, Ty Majeski rounded out the top 10 in qualifying.
“Yea, we had a really good (Toyota) Tundra there.” Said Heim after claiming his eighth-career NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series pole award.
“A little bit was suggestive going late in qualifying and having the shade help us in Turns 1 and 2, that’s the most grip I’ve ever felt at Homestead-Miami. I’ve never ran a night race here, so I was curious about how the shade would affect it, and it was quick.
Heim was additionally asked about how last year’s event had gone for the 22-year-old will compare to Friday’s nights event under the lights in South Florida.
“Last year, we were really good on the short runs, and of course, we were on pole last year too, so good in qualifying, but lacked in those long runs. So, I have one piece of the equation there in those long runs to figure out, and I think we got a better piece than we’ve ever had today.”
The Marietta, Georgia native seeks his third win in just the fourth race of the 2025 season in Friday’s showdown at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
The Baptist Health 200 at Homestead-Miami Speedway will air live on FOX at 8:00 pm EST.
