MBM Motorsports Returns to ARCA at Daytona

The anticipation for the 2024 ARCA Menards Series race at Daytona International Speedway is building ahead of Daytona Speedweeks in 2024. In the case of MBM Motorsports, they will return to ARCA for the Daytona ARCA 200 at Daytona International Speedway on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2024. Driver Armani Williams will pilot the No. 13 Blue Sprig Toyota Camry for MBM.

MBM Motorsports, located in Statesville, North Carolina, is a stock car team founded by Carl Long in 2014. Long, who has a rich history of racing himself, started racing in 1983. Over the years, he has worked his way up the through the motorsport ranks and has worn just about every hat when it comes to working on a race team. From crew chief and mechanic to being a driver or spotter, Long has done it all. MBM has competed in the NASCAR Cup and XFINITY series circuits since 2017 and the ARCA Menards Series since 2016. After the 2018 season, MBM took a break from ARCA.

Williams is a 23-year-old professional driver who has competed across the U.S. and Canada. He is the first professional driver to speak openly about being diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. He is using his platform to create awareness and acceptance of autism.

Daytona Beach, Florida, has a rich history of stock car racing. Starting in the 1940s and 1950s, stock car racing began on the beaches of Daytona. On December 14, 1947, NASCAR was founded at the Streamline Hotel right of Daytona Beaches shores. Fast forward to 2024, Daytona Beach hosts NASCAR’s Super Bowl of racing the Daytona 500 with a series of races leading up to the main event. This year, MBM Motorsports and Armani Williams will join in on all the festivities.
