No matter how your favorite racer fares, it’s surely to be a great weekend at Dover for NASCAR fans!

Young racing enthusiasts can enjoy quality time with their family and friends at the Monster Mile Youth Nation, a dedicated area located within the eight-acre FanZone outside of Turn 4.

Whether it’s to catch a quick respite from the stock car thunder, play pretend race with your newly purchased Lionel die-cast replica, or to brag about a selfie or autograph from a famed racer or crew member, youngsters will get to experience time that’s well spent in a section that’ll be in a family friendly environment.

The FanZone will offer something for race fans throughout the weekend, including rock wall climbing, driving simulators, and live music.  After all, the thrills of seeing the stock car heroes racing side-by-side may entice the thrill seekers at Dover to try out some climbing, or to safely get their Brad Keselowski instincts on with the simulation action, or perhaps unwind to music that’ll surely be pleasing to their ears.

A new component to the FanZone experience will be the USO Military Village.  This interactive display will have helicopters, vehicles, and table demonstrations from the five military branches of the United States (Navy, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, and Air Force).

Dover, situated near the Air Force Base, will surely offer the opportunity for race fans to gain more knowledge and understanding of some of the vehicles and duties that the brave men and women of our military branches experience on a daily basis.

Although the calendar shows it’s early fall, it will feel like an endless summer just after 9 p.m. on Saturday, October 1. After the fireworks show that traditionally takes place a few hours after sunset, race fans can enjoy a viewing of the animated film “Big Hero 6” at the Victory Plaza.  The viewing will be free and open to all race fans at the track, perhaps saving the trouble for some of them on what to do following a great day of NASCAR XFINITY Series action.

No matter if you’re a race fan who’s there for a day or for the entire weekend, Dover International Speedway awaits the best sports enthusiasts in the world for what is to surely be a memorable time for all.

There’s an activity that’ll surely captivate your senses beyond simply finding out if your favorite racer advances into the next round of the playoffs.
