SEATTLE – The 12th round of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship was held at Lumen Field in Seattle. It’s the first time they’ve competed in the Pacific Northwest since 2019 as a milestone was fulfilled.
Championship leader Eli Tomac owned the 450SX competition and scored his seventh win of the season. Not only was it his fifth straight win, but he is now tied with Chad Reed for fourth on the all-time wins list. In two weeks’ time, Tomac will enter Atlanta Motor Speedway with 44 Supercross victories.
In the 250SX main, it was Hunter Lawrence who was triumphant in Seattle. He held off a hard-charging Christian Craig who was involved in an incident early in the race. Craig remains the championship leader with just three rounds remaining.
That said, here’s my photo gallery from the site where the Seattle Seahawks call home.
