KANSAS CITY, Kan. – Tyler Reddick has wasted no time in showing he can be successful at 23XI Racing this season.

However, heading to a track that the team swept in 2022 has left the driver of the No. 45 Toyota curious about this weekend in the heartland.

No team has ever won three straight races with three different drivers, a feat that 23XI has an opportunity to pull off this weekend.

“I’m very curious to see how we stack up,” Reddick said.

As Reddick and Bubba Wallace look to carry on the team’s success, they both observed that Kansas allows drivers to move around.

“There is plenty of room to make your car work here.” Wallace said.

When there are multiple lanes to race, it brings out a little extra confidence for someone like Wallace, the most recent winner at the 1.5-mile Kansas Speedway.

Reddick knows his confidence will be high ahead of Sunday’s AdventHealth 400.“I really feel good with where we are as a team, and with Bubba and Kurt winning here last year, my confidence really is high that we can run up front,” Reddick said. “I’ve always run well here and always feel pretty confident coming in here.”

Reddick, who has yet to win a Cup race at Kansas, does not exactly have the finishes to show for it, but strategy and bad luck have taken him out of some good finishes. Entering Sunday’s race, Reddick’s best finish at Kansas is second which he got during the Cup Series’ most recent visit last September.

This Sunday’s race should play out well again for the Toyotas, especially for 23XI Racing.

“I’m really curious how things will play out especially after how well we ran at Las Vegas earlier this year,” Reddick said. “That was the best car I’ve ever had at Vegas, and pit box issues cost a little. It was super fast.”

Reddick ran inside the top ten all day, but was forced to settle for a 15th place finish after strategy at end hindered his team.

So, if you are looking for a big shot in your fantasy league or need a win, do not stray to far from the No. 23 or No. 45 entries. The confidence is high, the speed is there and Tyler Reddick could easily steal the show in Kansas on Sunday afternoon.

If it races, I'll write about it, talk about it or shoot it with a camera. I began pursuing a career in motorsports journalism immediately after attending college at Kent State University. I have hosted multiple Motorsports talk shows, worked in Country Music radio, and now i spend every day on the air in the morning with 1300 and 100.9 WMVO and in the afternoons watching the roadways around Central Ohio for 93.7 WQIO. The excitement and the fans make everything I put out there worth while, it's been an exciting 15 years having covered everything from the Daytona 500 to the Rolex 24 and you can find me at pretty much any event run at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. What I like to bring is a look behind the scenes, a look at what and who makes the sport grow. From the guy that welds pieces back at the shop to the host in the tv booth. Everyone has a story and I like to tell it. My main focus here at TPF is looking at the men and women behind the microphone and cameras. My life long goal is to become a member of MRN or PRN Radio and bring the races to you. I hope that what I share now is enjoyable and gives you a unique look in to the world of motorsports. See you at a track soon
