KENNEDALE, Texas — In the great state of Texas, one of the best signs of winter’s last grip is when the drivers and teams from the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series let it all hang out in the Cowtown Classic at Kennedale Speedway Park.

While the spoils went to Gio Scelzi and Michael “Buddy” Kofoid, it was the race fans who truly won with some of the best sprint car racers putting on a show for race fans last Friday and Saturday night. Drivers sought the $12,000.00 top prize in the 30-lap feature races at the 0.25-mile semi-banked dirt oval.
