HOMESTEAD, Fla. – After 134 laps around the high banks of Homestead Miami Speedway, Grant Enfinger came out as victorious.

At the start of the race, Corey Heim, driver of the No. 11 Toyota for TRICON Garage, was dominant, leading every lap in Stage 1.

However, the race took a different turn from there.

Grant Enfinger, driver of the No. 9 Chevrolet for CR7 Motorsports, showed good pace early in the event, eventually passing Heim in the closing laps of Stage 2. Enfinger would go on to win Stage 2, but he had his issues, making contact with Christian Eckes on the restart, forcing him to make a late-race pit stop to make sure there was not any significant damage to his Chevrolet.

With that, Enfinger was able to come down pit road early, and top off on gas, resulting in Enfinger having the opportunity to finish the race on fuel saving strategy, which Enfinger did.  Drivers including Championship Four hopeful, Nick Sanchez, tried to save fuel and make it to the end of the race as well, but instead of a good second place result to boost has championship odds, Sanchez finished in the number 13 position due to running out of fuel on the backstretch of the final lap.

Enfinger, who was already locked into the Championship Four, will look to win the next race at Martinsville Speedway in Martinsville, Va., before fighting for a championship in Phoenix, Ariz.
